The death is announced of Erma Paul also known as “Sister Erma and Oddie” of Grand Bras St Andrew who passed away on Monday 23rd March 2015 at the age of 72.
Left to Mourn are her:
5 Children: Michael Henry, Stanley Henry, Bryan Paul, Wayne Paul, Nigel Paul.
11 Grand Children:Missy Maitland ,Angus Henry ,Craig Henry, Zane Francis, Afisha Bascombe, Jessica Paul , Quinton Paul, Jada Paul, Shakim Paul, Donnel Paul, Niann Paul
Many Nieces and Nephew including :Devon Charles, Ian Charles, Edwards Fortune, Larry Cadore, Rachel Fortune Telesford, Thahira Fortune, Christopher Charles.
Brothers and Sisters: Telpha Henry, Shirley Fortune, Waldrine Charles, Hilda Charles, Theresa Charles, Roger Henry, Molly Henry, Nelson Henry, Leo Charles.
Left to mourn also are many other relatives and friends including the members of the: Paul, Fortune, Charles, Henry and Hopkin families, Peter Bain Mass Association, Friends and Neighbors of Grand Bras & Surrounding areas.
The funeral service of the late Erma Paul also known as “Sister Erma and Oddie” will be held on Tuesday 7th April 2015 at 2:00pm at St Andrew the Apostle Roman Catholic Church and interment will follow at Grand Bras Cemetery.
The body of the late Erma Paul also known as “Sister Erma and Oddie” will be taken from Wayne’s Funeral Home at12:45pm on Tuesday 7th April 2015 for St Andrew the Apostle Roman Catholic Church.

It’s with a very heavy heart, we want to express our deepest and heartfelt condolences to you. Sister Erma was the matriarch and mother of Grand Bras, and everyone who has crossed her path. One just can’t help but love someone of that nature, who has showed nothing but pure love, care and appreciation for others. As kids growing –up in Grand Bra’s, every parent in the community had a sense of security when their kids were supervised under the watchful eyes of Mrs. Erma. She had done everything for us as she would have done for kids. Sister Erma was love by us and she loved us back and we’ll be forever grateful for the precious life she had share with us.
