Obituary for Kennie Lessie It is with great sadness that the family of Kennie Lessie announces his passing, on Friday, March 5, 2021, at the age of 64 years. He was a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Kennie Lessie was born on September 27, 1956, to Ruth Lessey and Herman Bhola in the small village of La. Taste, Saint Patrick’s Grenada. He resided in Brooklyn, New York where he lived a great life with his loving wife of 24 years Allision Williams-Lessie, and his beautiful daughter Kerri Lessie, who was the apple of his eyes. He worked as a building Assistant Supervisor for almost 30 years and a painter for most of his life. Kennie was predeceased in death by his parents, Ruth Lessey and Herman Bhola, and brother Cecil Lessey. He would be missed and survived by his wife Allision Williams-Lessie, daughter Kerri Lessie, adopted son Orlando, five brothers Maxie, Michael, Kenny, Donny, and Marcus, and his nine sisters Meriel, Carol, Yvette, Beverly, Joylyn, Margaret Ann, Maria, Merlyn, and Maxine. He will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Shonta, Coretta, Ashley, Alisha, Michael, Kamal, Kuta, Trent, Tyrick, Jazer, Marie, and Trisha, and his four brothers-in-law Bounty, Alister, Carl, and Cisco, and three sisters-in-law Cicely, Stephanie, and Carol. He also leaves to cherish his memories long life friends Kenneth, Mrs. Bhola, Superintendent Adis, Errol, Sonia, Ali, Jonas, Kelon, Natalia, and Durrell.The family of Kennie Lessie wishes to extend our sincere thank you to the Kulkarni family, tenants of 225 Parkside Avenue, and 222 Lenox Road. The funeral will be held at River Salle seven day Adventist church, Kennie would have his final resting place in the River Salle cemetery.
