Christine "Janice" Amade, 63, of Brooklyn, New York, passed away on March 16, 2026.
Christine was born on September 28, 1962, in New Hampshire, St. George's, Grenada, to Alston "Sporty" Amada and Ursula Amada. She migrated to Canada in 1986 and later settled in the United States in 1994.
She was predeceased by her parents, Alston and Ursula Amada; her sister, Theresa Niles; and her brother, John "Stormy" Amada.
Christine leaves to cherish her memory her siblings: Nelson "Brother" Antoine, Anthony "Tindy" Amada, Veronica Lander, Annie "Tando" James, Donna Murray, and George "Andrew" Amede.
Sister-in-Laws: Bernadine Antoine, Ula Amada, and Jennifer Amede
Brother-in-Laws: Jerry James and Dennis Murray
Aunt: Mavis Amada in Grenada
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, including her dear friends Elizabeth "Barbara" Roberts of Grenada and Lydia Francis of Brooklyn, NY; the Amada family of New Hampshire and Happy Hill in Grenada; and her church family at Restoration Temple in Brooklyn, NY.
