Spice Youth Promotion continues in its bid to build and repair twenty houses before the end of the year. Over the weekend members of the Spice Youth Promotion Housing Committee were active in the Belmont area of St. George assisting a needy person. Ms. Joanna Patterson who lost one of her legs several years ago was the recipient of the assistance by Spice Youth Promotion. Ms. Patterson stated that her roof was totally removed by Hurricane Ivan and after receiving the assistance of materials from the Housing Authority of Grenada she is very grateful to receive the assistance of Spice Youth Promotion in rebuilding her roof. Ms. Patterson said that the work being finally done made her feel very happy. This is the second roofing project undertaken by Spice Youth Promotion over the last three weeks with another successful roofing project done in the Westerhall area for another needy family.
