Grenada’s Minister of Tourism Hon. Brenda Hood is seeking to make Grenada’s places on interest and tourist attractions more secure. Minister Hood and other tourism officials held a meeting recently with senior police officers, and tour operators to discuss matters of security for various visitor attractions around the country. In light of recent complains of harassment made to the Ministry from both visitors and locals the Minister is consulting with stakeholders to address this problem. Minister Hood says she is very concerned by these complaints and says her Ministry will take steps to ensure that persons visiting places of interest have a more enjoyable experience.
