The two Twenty20 and One Day Internationals (ODIs) between the West Indies and South Africa will be played in Antigua or Grenada. The matches were to be held at the Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago next month. However, the May 19 and 20 dates for the two twenty20 internationals and May 22 and 24 dates for the ODIs coincide with the May 24 general elections date in the twin island republic. Ernest Hilaire, Chief Executive Officer of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) told RJR Sports that a final decision on where to relocate the matches will be made on Sunday. "There are a couple of matters still being discussed. We will have ICC inspection of (the cricket grounds in) Antigua taking place on Sunday. We're also in discussion with Grenada but sometime on Sunday night we'll make a decision and an announcement will be made on Monday," he said. Hilaire also admitted the relocation will result in some financial implications for the WICB, but it is nothing the board cannot handle. "These are minimal (as) it's a question of having to control the arrangements we had in place. We would have had the same trackers, the same trackers for the gutter, for the selection of the broadcast as well as hotel arrangements and in some instances; we'll have to pay a cancellation fee and reimburse people who have (already) bought tickets, but at the end of the day, we will be able to settle those matters," he said.
