NEW YORK CITY COUNCILMAN, JUMAANE WILLIAMS VISITS GRENA...

New York City Councilmember - District 45, Jumaane Williams arrived in Grenada Friday evening. Williams, a first generation Brooklynite of Grenadian parentage, was met at the Maurice Bishop International Airport by Consul General Derrick James and members of the Protocol Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This is Williams' first visit to Grenada since he was elected to the New York City Council last November. He is the son of Gregory and Pat Williams of St. Andrew. He will meet with Prime Minister Tillman Thomas and other government officials next week. By Michael Bascombe

when i read/hear news like this it makes me feel so proud to be a grenadian and more so that our brothers and sisters of grenadian parentage is proud to show their roots and visit our shores ,not like Mr Hamilton ,yes i am feeling proud for at long last people in the advance free world want to talk and do business with us for example -India,Australia,yes our ministers are up and down flying to countries who wants to do business with us because they now see a government who is leading from the front in transparency,truth,and accountability,thoes countries now see a government with a strong positive thinking team and a prime minister who is willing to lead from the front in taking our country to the next level/dimension,a team that is doing all it can to better the lives of our people in every aspect of our lives ,yes i am proud very proud yes we are moving in the right direction. god bless grenada. one love.
