KOREAN INVESTMENT DELEGATION MISSION IN GRENADA
ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, Monday, May 17, 2010: The Office of Private Sector Development of the Ministry of Finance is this week hosting a six-person delegation from “Sewang One World” of Korea, who is on an Investment Mission to Grenada. Mrs. Yeja Park, head of the delegation, is the President/CEO of Sewang One World, a part owner of Hyundai Construction, and a board member of Samsung. The delegation will be focusing on exploring investments in the areas of tourism, infrastructure, health and agriculture. In this regard, they will hold meetings with the Prime Minister; the Ministers and Permanent Secretaries of the relevant ministries including Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs; the Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GCIC); and the Grenada Hotel and Tourism Association (GHTA). The visiting delegation will also visit some development projects already started but on hold due to financing constraints, including Levera and Mt. Hartman/Hog Island. It is hoped that their visit will lead to investments in some of these areas. This mission forms part of the initiative announced by the Minister of Finance in his 2010 Budget speech where he stated that Government will move to new levels of engagement with both local and foreign investors in the spirit of mutually beneficial partnerships in an effort to improve the business climate, a priority of the 2010 Budget. The delegation leaves Grenada on May 21st. Reprinted from Government of Grenada website.

Like you Mr Victor i do agree yes we are moving grenada is moving things are beginning to happen, positive things but we still have a long way to go and we still have to careful as to who we invite into our country to invest because of the past misdealing by the previous government and their con merchants which left our country in serious financial mess and yes we have to be careful and it is only fair to say that a big hand goes out to all thoes concern in putting their heads together as a team working together for the common benifit of our country and our people and it a a shame that the oppositions is not willing to come together and work together for the benifit of all our people and our country.

This is another step in the right direction that would reflect on the Grenadaian Government. If you ask me ,they should also invite on a possiably investment tour to G/ADA ,Mr. BILL GATES and Mr. WARREN BUFFET. "Why the hell not"? I'am Sure the Foreign Affairs Minister call reach and invite them to take a look at what can they Invest in Grenada.Either They Go for it or say No.
