ST GEORGE'S, June 5, 2010 - The U 16 leg of the St. George North East season kicked off competitively on Saturday as Vendome Marvelites defeated Hampshire United by three (3) goals to two (2) at the Tempe playing field. Jamal Telesford, Dennison Alexander and Gadani Bartholomew scored for Vendome Marvelites. Brighton Blair and Kendall Bridgeman scored for Hampshire United. Tomorrow, Sunday a double header will be held at Horeb, New Hampshire for the seniors. In the first game which is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. the St. George U 20 will engage Vendome Marvelites. At 4:30 p.m. undefeated Red Out of New Hampshire will put their perfect record on the line against fellow villagers Brothers United.
