CENSUS UPDATE
ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, Monday 22, August: The general public is hereby informed that the Population and Housing Census is still in progress and enumerators are currently working in the following areas: St. George’s- Calivigny, Lance Aux Epines St. John’s- Grand Roy St. Andrew’s- Soubise St. David’s- Morne Delice, Old Westerhall The Central Statistical Office is urging the general public to give full cooperation to the enumerators who are currently in the field as well as the supervisors who are conducting final verification of the work done by the field enumerators. This effort is to ensure that no one is missed. It has indeed been a difficult task to contact individuals within some households as a result of their very busy schedules. There is also a possibility that some households may have been missed by the enumerator during the initial enumeration process. The Statistical Office is therefore making a special request to households that have not been interviewed as yet to contact the Office, at the Ross Building, Carenage, St. George’s at 440- 1369 or 435-9870 to arrange an appointment for an interview to be conducted at a location convenient to you. Persons can also visit the Office during the hours of 8am-4pm to be interviewed. Persons who have not been interviewed in the parishes outside of St. George can call the following numbers to make an appointment: PARISH PHONE NUMBER St. Patrick’s 442-9414, 410-9287, 410-7630 St. John’s/ St. Mark’s 410-7663 St. David’s 410-7786 St. Andrew’s 410-7776 Carriacou and Petite Martinique 442-6026, 410-7839 Residents of Grenada are reminded that they play an integral role in this census process. The importance of this exercise in national development should not be understated. Each person has a responsibility to ensure that he/ she is counted.

Pastor Winston Garraway everyone's going to do this and that. Tell me what would you do if you were the elected Prime Minister of Grenada and how would you do it. How would you get the funds and how would you pay the debts back along with the high wages for the people in your party, and why would you do what you do. Lets see you justify and walk the walk. Now Imagine you are the new PRIME MINISTER. You are now the man. Forget the bubul money, ah know you go make bubul, but lets talk about what and how will you run the goverment. REMEMBER HOW WHY AND WHAT WILL YOU DO. Lets talk. Give us some detail

Pastor Winston Garraway if you have truly done what you say you did then its good. Well on this education thing, I for one don't think academics is everything we need. During my time growing up, this is what we believed, but I think everyone has different talents and its up to us to develop those talents. Not all of us will do well with numbers. Some of us will be good carpenters, electricans, mechanics, refrigeration, nurses, doctors, lawyers. We can't be all good in academics but we may all excel in what we do best and this is what needs to be pushed.Wearing a suit and a tie don't make it these days. A good skill is what is required. Take you for example, a con man preacher and a cheap part time politican on a short time temporary basis. You can't do any of those right and you are in for some money because I know in my soul you do not care one bit for Grenada. Look at how Mitchel left Mirabeau Hospital. I visited there and I saw Cobeau eating the people's food. We can't even take a good X-ray there. The machine that was there had parts removed and taken to Town and the rest was left to rot in the rain and sun, and now some of them are again looking and asking for donations to buy another one in their husband's name. I won't give a dime for that. We need good medical facilities in Mirabeau, we need to flood Grenada with good doctors from India and these other countries who are willing to help to drive down the cost of medical care, we need good drugs made available to our people on an inexpensive basis. You get sick in Grenada and you die if you dont have the funds to go away and get help, we need a good water supply with some more clean resovoirs. We need a good puryifing system to clean the water coming from the ground so we won't have too many kidney problems which are are occuring quite frequently in Grenada. We need good trained competent personnel to run these kidney machines. Too many are dying from these untrained and unqualified so called medical help we have here. These are some of programs Keith Mitchel was expected to do with all the money you guys were stealing. Give Tillman a chance and you will see what he can do. Remember all cannot be done in a few months after what you and you boys destroyed, sole or conned away

Hi LaBay greetings, thanks for asking this important question. What have I done to help the people or have I donated to Cadrona? well for your information, I head an organization known as PROJECT WE CARE. We give out food hampers to needy families. On Friday last I was instrumental in getting a young lad a scholarship to attend the TA Marryshow Community College. When you and this heartless NDC raise the entrance fee from $400 t0 $600 for students to enter TAMCC it was out of reach for many poor and struggling families who see education as a way out of poverty. Tomorrow I will be working with another student to get the necessary supplies to get back to school, his mother is presently suffering with Kidney problems. So when you talk about Dr Mitchell wants to bring back slavery on Grenadians is another vain attempt to deceive the people but we know better. Dr Mitchell has been the Leader who has done more than any other to develop education in Grenada. I understand your talk about slavery and it is not Dr Mitchell but you and the NDC for you guys know very well if the people remain unlearned they will be vulnerable to your lies and deception. As long as the lord permit I will be here to stop your lies.
