Hillsborough, Carriacou, October 13th, 2010-The Princess Royal Hospital in Carriacou is now better equipped to do patients’ diagnosis. It has received an x-ray reading machine from England-based Raphael Stanisclaus, a member of the charitable organization, Friends of Princess Royal. Crispin Mitchell, a member of Friends of Princess Royal, made the donation on behalf of Mr. Stanisclaus. He said that after observing the condition of a previously used machine at Princess Royal, Carriacou’s lone hospital, Stanisclaus thought it fitting to donate a new one. Dr. Tyrone Davis, in accepting the donation, welcomed the donation and said it will aid in the proper diagnosis of patients. The Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs, led by Senator the Hon. George Prime, is appreciative of the gesture as government is committed to working along with private individuals and organizations to improve the quality of healthcare in the nation.
