ST. GEORGE’S: Today, Justice Francis Belle of Barbados, who presided over the re-sentencing of the Grenada 13, delivered his judgment which saw three men from the group walk out from prison to breathe the air of freedom after spending approximately 24 years in jail. The men who were set free are Cecil Prime, Christopher Stroude and Lester Redhead.
While these three men were freed, the others have been sentenced to spend up to 40 years in prison, 35 years of which have already been spent. This means that they could be free within three to four years time. A written judgment should be delivered in approximately two weeks time.
now that these men have been freed maybe now nnp government will give them a job in the government as security officers or disposal officers.let us all now hope that the people of grenada remembers these people for the deeds that they have done in robing grenadians of the real peoples leader
