GRENADA ESTABLISHES PHARMACY COUNCIL |

In accordance with the Pharmacy Act Cap 214, the Minister of Health has established The Pharmacy Council, to be followed by the appointment of
its members.
The Pharmacy Council will be responsible for regulating and monitoring all aspects of the Pharmacy Industry in Grenada.
The eight member Council will be chaired by the Chief Medical Officer. Other members include the Chief Pharmacist, one medical practitioner
appointed after consultation with the Grenada Medical Association, one medical practitioner appointed by the Minister in her discretion, two
pharmacists appointed by the Minister after consultation with the Pharmacy Association, one pharmacist appointed by the Minister after
consultation with the Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce, one Agricultural Officer appointed by the Minister after consultation with the Minister
of Agriculture, and one Attorney at Law admitted to practice in Grenada appointed by the Minister.
The Council will serve for a term of two years.
