The Department of Youth Development in the Prime Minister’s Office has launched a new initiative aimed at creating an additional boost to its public relations scheme. The “Youth in the Spotlight” programme which is aired daily Monday to Friday on five radio stations throughout the state seeks to inform the public about projects and activities being undertaken by the Department. The five-minute production was launched on Monday (31st January, 2005) and can be heard on the following stations at these times: GBN Radio- 3:30 pm daily SAC FM- 3:30 pm daily WEE FM-4:15 pm daily GIS Radio-3:00 pm daily (Carriacou & Petit Martinique) Kayak FM- Tues. & Thurs.-7:00 am and - Mon., Wed. & Fri.-6:30 pm Over the past few days, the Department has received tremendous response on the programme and moves are being made to do a TV production of the programme.
