The Ministry of Communication, Works and Transport advises the general public that the ‘lodge’ building on the Carenage St. George’s will be partially demolished this weekend. The safety of the building was investigated by the Physical Planning Unit of the Ministry of Finance and the Engineering Department of Ministry of Works following the passage of Hurricane Ivan. It has been determined that the building poses a danger to motorists and pedestrians.
