The Ministry of Education has begun the distribution of new school desks and chairs to the Secondary Schools on the island. The furniture was procured by a joint initiative of the World Bank, and the Government of Grenada. The distribution of the new furniture commenced this week, and will continue next week with the arrival of a two more containers. The initiative to supply the schools with new furniture was put in motion to replace old and faulty furniture prior to Hurricane Ivan. Source: Ministry of Education
