The Ministry of Communication, Works and Transport in collaboration with Consolidated Contractors Company Ltd (CCC), and DIWI, the Consultant would like to inform the public that work on Woodlands to the Cliff is progressing well and on schedule. The $23 million project is part of the “Grenada Road Improvement and Rehabilitation Works-Woodlands to the cliff and Grenville to Sauteurs.” Preliminary works commenced on Woodlands to the Cliff on May 24th and major construction in August 2004. The project includes road widening and rock excavation, building of retaining walls, concrete drains, cross culverts and a new asphalt pavement. The Ministry of Works, CCC AND DIWI thank all residents of Woodlands and Woburn for their cooperation and understanding, especially those who gave permission for the widening of the road.
