Pfizer the world's largest research based pharmaceutical company, which develops, manufactures and markets leading prescription medicines, presented a cheque in the amount of US$20,000 to principal of the St. David's Catholic Secondary School, Mrs. Maudlyn Ferguson at a short ceremony at the Ministry of Education. Pfizer's representative Ms. Claire Clarke said that at Pfizer, "Life is their life's work and that her company hopes that their contribution will positively impact the lives of the people of Grenada, as they continue to partner with the Government and various organisations to provide a better community in which we can all live and work. Mrs. Ferguson on accepting the generous donation, thanked Pfizer Caribbean for their gift of love and support, and assured the company's representative that their investment in education is an investment in the Grenadian people. Pfizer has appointed the Grenada Chapter of the Full Gospel Businessman's Fellowship headed by its president Mr. Evelyn Ross, and Mr. Harry Gibson General Manager of Gittens Agency (local distributor of Pfizer products) to administer the funds.
