EDUCATION MINISTRY LAUNCHES PROJECT AIMED AT IMPROVING ...
The Ministry of Education and the Grenada Rural Enterprise Project (G-REP) this morning launched its partnership at a press conference. The Project to be undertaken by The Ministry of Education and G-REP is called The Family Life Education Advocacy Project. It is aimed at fostering the development of knowledge, skills, and values and attitudinal changes that will make for healthy individuals, enhanced and improved social interaction and family life. The Ministry of Education aims to achieve this goal by using radio and television to address particular issues that affect family life. A Drama Caravan will also play a significant role in getting the message across the nation. Several skits will be developed that address key issues affecting our family and everyday life. The Caravan will move from community to community commencing June 1st, 2005. The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (I FAD) and the Government of Grenada are funding this initiative. Source: Ministry of Education
