MT. MORITZ ANGLICAN CHURCH FUND-RAISER HAD SOMETHING FO...
By Mavis George Grenadianconnection.com Special Correspondent Pure niceness is the only way to describe the fund-raising activity which was put on by the Mt. Moritz Anglican Church recently at the recreational field at Mt. Moritz. Proceeds from the event will go toward rebuilding the church which was totally demolished by the unwelcomed visit of hurricane Ivan some eight months ago. The villagers and members of the neighbouring communities, such as Grandmal and Cherry Hill all came out in their numbers to support this worthy cause. Besides the regular cake stalls which are usually a part of the normal May 1st celebration, or Harvest as it is commonly called, some members of the community assisted with some unusual stalls, such as drumming classes for $1, and a huge book stall.
