St. George, May 13, 2005 -- Zublin Grenada Limited has begun to illustrate its support for the development of Grenada's yachting industry by announcing its participation as a major sponsor of the upcoming summer regatta to be staged by the Grenada Yacht club in July of this year. Zublin will be the key sponsor of the first and last days' events of the regatta which runs from July 7 through 10. In addition to races for the live-aboard and cruising classes, this year's event will also feature a bathtub derby for children of all ages, a beach party at Grand Anse, and a spectacular fireworks display from the old Islander Hotel. Organized by the Grenada Yacht Club, the sixth annual summer regatta is intended to be a celebration for all survivors of Hurricane Ivan, according to Commodore Darryl Brathwaite.
