PM MITCHELL MEETS WITH NEW SOUTH KOREAN AMBASSADOR TO G...  
Prime Minister Dr. the Rt. Hon. Keith Mitchell yesterday, Tuesday May 24, welcomed newly appointed Ambassador of South Korea to Grenada His Excellency Soong-Chull Shin, his wife Kyung-Hee Han and Second Secretary Jong-Uk Choi. The Ambassador told Dr. Mitchell that South Korea is pleased to rekindle this relationship with Grenada. He said South Korea will also seek to establish a direct channel with CARICOM and is seeking Grenada’s support in this regard. Ambassador Shin said his government understands the plight of the Grenadian people in light of the devastation caused by Hurricane Ivan and will do whatever it can to assist in the reconstruction process. Dr. Mitchell explained some of the effects of Ivan, and the damages sustained by the country. Prime Minister Mitchell indicated to the Ambassador that Grenada still needs tremendous assistance in all areas for the resuscitation of the country. Source: Office of the Prime Minister
