CARIBBEAN CUP SOCCER WEEK 2 ROUND UP  
The second weekend in the 2005 Caribbean Cup championships provide soccer fans with the exciting soccer action they have come to expect in one of the tri-state area’s premier soccer contests. The father’s day triple-header was a treat for the crowd. Trinidad & Tobago:2 Antigua/Barbuda:1 In the first game 1996 champions, Trinidad & Tobago, lived up to their pre-season hype by outplaying their opponents. Haiti:3 St. Lucia:1 In the afternoon’s second game, St. Lucia was overpowered by Haiti, a fact reflected in the final scores. Jamaica:2 Barbados:2 The feature game lived up to expectations with a highly competitive match-up with two former Caribbean Cup champions taking the field. At the end of the bruising battle for supremacy, both teams came away with equal points. Play in the 2005 Caribbean Cup continues this weekend on Sunday, June 26. All games in the competition are played at the Jefferson High School field at Flatlands and Shepherd avenues in the Spring Creek section of Brooklyn.
