The Ministry of Tourism has embarked on a beach clean up programme to enhance some community beaches. Groups of persons from the various communities have been employed by the Ministry to work on the beaches in their area. The programme started three weeks ago in St.David’s. To date, Bathway, La Tante and La Sagesse beaches are completed and work is continuing on three other beaches in St. George’s. These beaches are Doctor Grooms, Magazine and Pandy.
