REHABILITATION WORK CONTINUES ON THE GRAND ETANG NATION...  
The Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with USAID are in the process of reconstructing and revitalizing the Grand Etang National Park. This is the second project which falls under the USAID\ PADCO Grenada Community Revitalization Programme. During the passage of Hurricane Ivan the facility suffered severe damage and many buildings were destroyed, which include the Interpretation Centre, Vender’s booth, three Gazebos’, and the Jetty. Additional work and improvement will be made on the road leading to the lake and the surrounding trails. USAID will also add a Gazebo and an elevated look-out at Morne La Baye. The project which is being funded by USAID is expected to cost approximately US$226,946.28. The scheduled completion date is October 30, 2005.
