GRENADIAN KILLED IN LONDON BOMB BLAST
ST GEORGE"S, Grenada (CMC) - A Grenadian national was among 55 people killed during the bomb blasts that rocked London earlier this month, officials in Grenada have confirmed. They said Arthur Frederick died while travelling to work on one of the trains destroyed in the explosion that injured more than 700 people. Frederick, had just returned to London two weeks ago, after completing repair work on his parent's home in St. George's with his two US-based brothers. His mother, Cynthia said since the passage of the hurricane last week, she had been without a telephone and while she had been informed of the bombings "we don"t know who get kill." "We just listening to what has come up but we didn"t know who dead that morning on the train," she added. Frederick served for several years in the Montserrat Police Force before migrating to Britain following the 1995 volcanic eruption on the British Overseas Territory. His father, Walton, described the bomb blast as a wicked act which took his son's life. "I recommend them to God, God is the judge, God is the Supreme and we have to put everything to God because their mind is very wicked and wicked people will have to meet it in days to come," Walton said. Fredericks' body is to be flown home to Grenada for burial. British police have identified four people including a Jamaican national, for being responsible for the bomb blasts on 7 July.
