The Department of Youth in the Prime Minister's Office had embarked on intense preparation for this years Summer Programme. This year's Programme will be held in fifteen (15) centers throughout the island and will be funded by the Grenada Rural Enterprise Project (G-REP). Some eight hundred fifty (850) youngsters between the ages of 8 and 16 are expected to attend this year’s programme which is being held under the theme: “Conflict resolution creating young leaders for a violence-free society” Some changes will be made to this year's Summer Programme with the inclusion of reading, drama and talent searches.
