CARNIVAL MESSAGE FROM MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND LABOUR

My fellow citizens, as we all enjoy SpiceMas 2005, our Carnival and National festival I appeal to you, to do so in moderation and always maintain a sense of responsibility and propriety.
I urge you to refrain from actions, which could have severe consequences such as DRINKING AND DRIVING, USE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS AND RISKY SEXUAL BEHAVIOR.
Drinking and driving and the use of illegal drugs can put you, your loved ones and other innocent persons at serious risk and even death. It’s simply not worth it.
Casual sex exposes you to HIV/AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and even unplanned pregnancy.
As your Minister for Education and Labour, I appeal to you to think before you act, and don’t allow yourself to get carried away in the moment.
Be Safe! Be Responsible! Have a Good Carnival
Hon. Claris Charles
Minister of Education and Labour
