RBTT AIDS REHABILITATION EFFORTS IN GRENADA’S SCHOOLS |

St. George’s: The RBTT Bank Grenada Limited on Friday, August 12, 2005, presented in excess of $59,000 in assistance to 15 secondary schools on the island. Funds will be used to purchase much-needed items such as furniture, computers, and home economic equipment. The assessment of needs was derived from information supplied to RBTT by the respective school principals.
RBTT representatives, Mrs. Viola Charter and Mrs. Elizabeth Henriques said that their bank is thoroughly committed to assisting in the rehabilitation effort and will continue to assist with the development of the nation’s youth.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Labour Mr. Michael Pierre expressed his profound appreciation for the generous donation and assured the RBTT representatives that their donation would be put to good use. Mr. Pierre said that the Ministry of Education is working diligently to restore schools with limited resources.
