GRENADIAN STUDENT RECOGNIZED FOR OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC P...  
Grenadian student Ferdisha Snagg, awardee of the 2002 Grenada island scholarship, has recently been recognised by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), for her excellent academic performance. Ms. Snagg, who has completed the first year of a four-year bachelor’s degree programme in Law with French law, was awarded the John Griffith prize for the best overall performance in the Intermediate or first year law final examinations. She has been described as an ambassador for Grenada by Head of LSE’s Law Department, Professor Christopher Greenwood CMG QC. Ms. Snagg is an active participant in extracurricula activities such as student clubs and societies. She is the secretary of the Catholic society and a member of the law and French societies. She also volunteers four hours weekly at a disadvantaged London Secondary School as a teaching assistant in French. She has won several mooting competitions organised by the law society, scoring high points for her eloquence and outstanding logic.
