Prime Minister Dr. the Rt. Hon. Keith Mitchell met yesterday with outgoing British High Commissioner to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean John White. High Commissioner White told the Prime Minister how happy he was to see the progress Grenada had made since Hurricane Ivan. The High commissioner says he is optimistic about Grenada’s future because of the obvious signs of progress he is seeing. He also stressed the importance of regional unity and complimented the Government and people of the region for working together after Hurricane Ivan. Prime Minister Mitchell thanked the High Commissioner for his country’s support and asked that he continue to use any opportunity afforded to him to help the people of Grenada.
