NEW YORK-BASED MONROE COLLEGE WELCOMES CARIBBEAN STUDEN...
NEW YORK, USA: Monroe College in New Rochelle, NY (www.monroecollege.edu), located less than a half-hour from New York City, has a long history of granting Bachelor's and Associate degrees to students from the Caribbean. Caribbean students have consistently emerged as campus leaders, especially as Resident Assistants in the College’s apartment-style residential on-campus living, and in student organizations. In particular, it was predominantly Caribbean students who led the College’s Associate Degree SIFE Team (Students In Free Enterprise) in capturing the international organization’s 2005 National Championship, this past May. Each November, the college sends representatives to various Caribbean nations, to conduct free, no-obligation information sessions for students interested in studying at Monroe College’s New Rochelle, NY campus, located less than one-half hour from New York City. The full-accredited college offers degrees in Hospitality and Culinary Arts, Criminal Justice, Health Services and Medical Administration, Computer Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration and Business Technologies. He will also explain the requirements for and process for obtaining a student visa. A new MBA degree program will be launched in January 2006.
