Grenada’s Prime Minister Dr. the Rt. Hon. Keith Mitchell left Grenada yesterday to travel to London and Malta. Prime Minister Mitchell is expected to meet with British Prime Minister Tony Blair in London and then travel on to Malta to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. Prime Minister Mitchell says that he will use this trip to continue to push Grenada’s reconstruction agenda. He noted that based on the level of destruction Grenada suffered as a result of Hurricanes Ivan and Emily that the country still needed support especially with its housing, business development and youth and employment generation programmes. Hon. Gregory Bowen will act as Prime Minister until Monday November 28th when Prime Minister Mitchell is expected to return. Source: Office of the Prime Minister
