FIRST TICKETS FOR 2007 WORLD CUP AVAILABLE IN MAY  
The 800,000 tickets for the 2007 cricket World Cup can be applied for from May 1. Tickets will be available for all 51 matches in the first World Cup in the Caribbean from March 13-April 26, 2007. They will range from category 1 for premium seats, to category 4, a party stand with artificially created beaches. The first public application will run from May 1 to July 31. Any leftover tickets will be sold from Sept. 1-Nov. 29, and again from Jan. 9, 2007. Tickets for pool matches will range from US$15-$100 (€12-€84), the Super 8 stage from US$25-$100 (€21-€84), the semifinals from US$50-$130 (€42-€110), and the final from US$100-$300 (€84-€254). A ballot will be used if applications outnumber tickets. Organizers are targeting 75 percent attendances. Matches will be played in Barbados, Jamaica, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, Antigua, Grenada, Trinidad, Guyana, and St. Vincent. Reprinted from foxsports.com
