ANGLICAN CHURCH LEADER DIES AT 49  
ST GEORGE'S -- Pruvin Phillip, archdeacon for the Anglican Church in Grenada, has died. He was 49. Phillip died Saturday shortly after returning to Grenada from Miami where he had been receiving medical treatment. There has been no official comment on the cause of his death or the nature of his illness. Phillip was born in 1956 in Bequia, St. Vincent. He studied at Codrington College in Barbados, an affiliate of the University of the West Indies and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology in 1985. He also served as the assistant curate at the Parish Cathedral of St. George in St. Vincent until 1989 when he was transferred to Grenada. A funeral date had not yet been set.
