THE NEW NATIONAL PARTY
THE SECOND SITTING OF THE GENERAL COUNCIL HELD AT THE MC DONALD COLLEGE, ST. PATRICKS – SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2011. RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Grenada has been registering an average negative growth in its economy over the past three consecutive years; AND WHEREAS, poor leadership and the lack of economic vision on the part of the present Government of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) which continue to wreak havoc on the lives and the livelihood of the people of Grenada Carriacou and Petite Martinique; AND WHEREAS, unemployment among the people of Grenada Carriacou and Petite Martinique (The Tri-Island State), particularly among the youth population, has reached an astronomical all time high of nearly 40%; AND WHEREAS, a recent Consumer Confidence Sentiment Index (CCSI) report from the University of the West Indies (UWI) revealed that among the fifteen CARICOM Nations, Grenada CCSI plummeted to an all time low of 27% for the third quarter of 2011. The UWI CCSI report stated: “The most dramatic development for the quarter was an apparent collapse of consumer sentiment in Grenada as the CCSI for that country fell from 60 to 27”; AND WHEREAS, the said UWI CCSI report is a clear indication that the economic condition in Grenada will get progressively worst because investors - local, regional and international, view Grenada as a high risk economic market, and will not take the risks to invest in such a market. This means no chance of improving the country’s employment woes. AND WHEREAS, the present Government has failed to implement a viable economic strategy or roll out any projects that can bring economic relief to the people of the country; NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved: That the New National Party Delegates, in a meeting of the General Council at Mc Donald College, in the Parish of St. Patrick’s on Sunday, November 20, 2011, condemn the NDC Government for its lack of vision and foresight for creating an enabling economic environment – for failure to initiate programs for the development of the country. This means that the people of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique cannot improve their standard of living and the country, under the NDC cannot be restored to economic prosperity. NOW THEREFORE, in the circumstance, we resolve that the Minister for Finance (the Economy - Economic Planning - Energy and Cooperatives), immediately tender his resignation and failing to do so, that the Prime Minister summarily relieve him of the office.

Did you know Grenada's politicians indecisive, unthinkable and immediate greed to satisfy its momentous thirst attitudes in turning its back on those who came to its aid in desperate moments has lauded our country in deep shit, from Keith Mitchell to Tillman Thomas? Here's the fact: Our country switched it's UN vote back and forth between Taiwan and China at a time when Taiwan was doing insurmountable good for the country. Now we are at the mercy of the Chinese and there's no way around it. The Chinese will soon takeover the major business sector in Grenville, restaurant and hotel sections, ports and other major industries on the island. Some of you have blamed Keith for selling the island. But watch out sleeping and ignorant Grenadians, the Chinese are coming at full force and your politicians would not be in a position to stop it. They owing too much money to the Chinese government. They are at their mercy. What is happening to the port of St. George? What is happening to our barrels? Are our lazy and materialistic people going to starve? Wake up lazy Grenadians and don't let your country turn into a tourist industry. The CHinese are coming!

Tillman Thomas and the NDC must pay for their mismanagement of the people's business. We aught to demonstrate our support for the NNP in the upcoming election. That's the only way of sending the NDC the right message that it can't take the people's trust for granted.

Tell that to those sleeping and easily bribed Grenadians. The high and attractive salaries ditched out to Henchmen and Grenada's genocide leaders Hudson Autin, Leon "Bogo" Cornwall, Cecil Prime, pentioners Strachan, Bernard Coard, Ventour and rest of the Gang of 17 are monies that could have been used to put a dent in the ever increasing unemployment. I am surprised NDC mouth piece Gabe has not addressed that subject. It's my hope that the NNP will recind the employment of these barbaric murderers and demonstrate some respect for civility and state law. Power to the innocent victims of Hudson Austin, Strachan, Coard, Leon Cornwall, Ventura, Cecil Prime and all those (now hiding in New York, Canada, Trinidad, England and elsewhere and are daily haunted by their murderous deeds) who play key roles in the murder of the head of state, his cabinet and law abiding citizens.

Marie Nile, Gabe, Big Al, I hope GC would one attached a fee to its website (for users), ignorant, uninformed, misconstrued, mentally discurb, misleading and subjective thinkers like you would not be able to post your foolishness on this site. Dr. Mitchell may not have been a perfect leader, but he sure has done a lot for our country socially, educationally, culturally and economically. It's time some of you pick up the newspapers, read and gain an understanding of what is happening around you. Many of you sit on you lazy and dirty asses wasting government funds and money and attempting to do your best to ensure your positions remain with NDC. It's time we begin to change that. Stop your selfish sense of reasoning and give credit where it's due.
