FORMER PRIME MINISTER CONTINUES TO BRING HOPE AND CHRIS...
St. George’s, Grenada December 21st, 2011: Former Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell has continued his yearly tradition of paying a special visit to Capital City and other main towns at Christmas time. The Opposition Leader visited the vendors of the St. George Market Square and businesses around the capital city as the tempo of the 2011 Christmas Season remains abnormally slow. Market vendors and the average man and woman in the street showed their affinity toward the man who held the reins of power in Grenada for thirteen consecutive years as Prime Minister. They lamented the slow pace of sales or non-existence of any sales in some instances. Vendors, Taxi Drivers, Busmen, Pedestrians, Business people small and large all took the opportunity to shake the hand of the man many described as the one they are waiting for to help take Grenada out of the economic malaise in which it is now entrenched. The walk has become a yearly feature of the Opposition Leader started while he held the Office of Prime Minister and continued as Opposition Leader. Dr. Mitchell wished all a Very Merry Christmas and a Bright and Prosperous 2012.

Hi Karen yesterday you have found out a little bit of me and yes while i again stress that although we may differ sometimes politically ,and i say sometimes our concern should and always be where we as grenadians and friends of grenada would like to see our people and our country advancing both politically and financially and it is fair to say that what we do and say as a people also reflex on the country as a whole and that take me back to some of our people yes the ones who sit idlly by the road sides and called out very offensive names to thoes grenadians returning home to live forgetting that some of these very grenadians are major financial contributors to the well being of our country and sad to say that governments including this government has to share the blame for not educating some of these people yes thoes who constantly comes out with this sort of nasty filty name calling, but as the saying goes you can take the horse to the water but you cant force the horse to drink the water yes only time will tell. one love.

So Gabe, you're telling us that you've been one of those involved in the diaspora discussion? No wonder returning nationals continue to encounter hostility at home. Did you address the fact that we at home aught to discourage those who often derogatorily categorize our returning diaspora brothers and sisters as JCBs?

Karen A happy new year to you and again i say to you that through your complete lack of any knowledge of who i am you continue to write pure nonsence of me karen for your information i was one of the people /contributor who took part in the last world Diaspora conference held recently at the trade centre last august and its aim was promoting awareness of our people at home and abroad in bringing skills to our country in its persuant of futher developing our people there were Grenadian people from the STATES,CANADA,ENGLAND.AND EUROPE(what have you being doing for grenada but to come on this site and talk silly talk)Karen my take of the opposition and its leader have been noted on this site/forum over the years i dont hide behind handouts and karen i am no body master and i am forever beholded to GC for giving us posters the platform to air our views both for and against and that is what i have always maintain i must repeat to persons like you that i am not a paid up member of any political party but what i am is a person who recognises thoes who has grenada at it heart and through decency and respect for our people will do their best to advance our country and what i have taken issues with are thoes who are downright rude in their language when addressing our people and behaves as though grenada belongs to them so to you i say one love . and a joyous new year and lets keep the debate on where we want to see our country going in terms of advancement for all our people.

Gabe, I don't need to know you personally. Over the past year, you have been brave enough to show who you really are: Ignorant, bias, partial and subjective in your views. While many called for social awareness and change, you continuously called for silencing of the upward move our country so desperately needs. Another point I would like to make here is the fact that you hate to see people collaborate and give to those in need. Give Keith Mitchell and the NNP a break. They give to the poor and needy which you and many others failed to do.
