US SECRETARY OF STATE JOHN KERRY CONGRATULATES GRENADA ...
On behalf of President Obama and the people of the United States, I congratulate the people of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique on the 40th anniversary of your independence on February 7. The United States is proud of what our peoples and governments have achieved together through forty years of bilateral cooperation. This year’s Independence Day theme, “Uniting Our People, Restoring Hope for a Brighter Tomorrow,” reflects the aspirations that our peoples share for freedom, opportunity, and peace. As Grenadians celebrate 40 years of independence from Beaulieu to Beausejour and throughout the tri-island state, I wish you a joyous celebration and a peaceful and prosperous year to come. US SECRETARY OF STATE JOHN KERRY CONGRATULATES GRENADA ...
Gabe and Joe, The Observer strongly supported the US invasion of our country. Here are the reasons: 1. Your supported renegades and barbarian killers Hudson Austin (dumb, gullible, uneducated and barely could read, follower and not for sure a leader), Crabs in the barrels Ventura, Prime, Selwyn Strachan, Bogo, Phyllis and Bernard Coard...had already covertly collaborated with Edward Seaga of Jamaica and CIA to to eliminate Maurice Bishop, his cabinet and followers. Proof, Why was Hudson Austin going back and forth to the University School of Medicine? He was communicating with CIA agents at the university. He was briefing them on the status of events. 2. Following the death of the latter, Hudson Austin and his colleagues went on a search to kill spress, instituted a curfew the held the entire country hostage and at a standstill. 3. We were at the mercy of Bernard Coard, Hudson Austin, Phyllis Coard, Bogo...these men were out for blood. Therefore, the US invasion helped to bring a Rwanda 1994-95 genocide style even to a halt. Please remember no Caribbean leader(s) had called upon the US to interview during Bishop's reign. Therefore, the Observer strongly supported the US invasion of the island. For more information about their collaboration with the CIA, please check out the interview Hudson Austin had with the then Governor Paul Scoon.

Observer, you put out good some information as usual but you surely lie by stating "your supported renegades......". Who the hell supported those scum bags idiots? You are intelligent and capable of make your points without lies. Please try to do so and you will be a credible guy. I believe that the US had Austin, Coard and the rest of nothing in their back pockets and also sowed the seeds for the unfortunate massacre. I also believe that the US was planning to turn back the Revo., since Reagan became President. Brother Bishop warned us about the phrase temporary setback and US military maneuvers in the region. Bro. Valentino also mentioned it in one of his calypsos. We also know about CIAGAR from Jamaica, Tom Adams, Eugenia and all the other house slaves. Observer, although you show the US involvement we hadn't a choice at that time but to support the invasion therefore I agree with you for supporting it. Now please tell me, if a man set a house on fire then run back and put out the fire after damage was done should you give him credit for putting out his own fire? I believe the US had a plan to turn back the Revo and to get rid of the Cubans by any means not necessary. After all the Cubans embarrassed them in 1961. I also believe that Reagan's timing was to distract Americans from the sad and unfortunate massacre of 198 US Marines in Beirut. Forward Ever.

Can someone including Mr. Kerry please tell me what have the U.S. and Grenada achieved together over the past 40 years to be proud of? Is this plenty of big talk to draw loud applause as usual? Fellow Grenadians, lets work together using what God gave us to build a truly Independent Grenada and forget all those big talk. Ok, the celebration is over let's get to work. we are the only ones to decide our destiny. Grenada may God bless you. Joe
