GRENADIANS TOLD TO PREPARE FOR HARDER TIMES
Prime Minister Dr Keith Mitchell has told Grenadians that they should be prepared to undergo three years of tough sacrifices as the island implements an economic strategy with assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Mitchell said Grenada continues to feel the effects of the difficult economic times as highlighted by the country’s high debt, high unemployment, and low growth. In March, the IMF said it had reached an agreement in principle with the Grenada government for a three-year US$21.9-million Extended Credit Facility to support the country’s programme to correct its fiscal imbalances and create sustainable growth. As a result of the IMF agreement, the Grenadian government said it would also be able to secure US$100 million in loans and grant funding from regional and international lending agencies. Gabe,Littleboy, other like minded progressive Grenadians.Yes, we need to grow local industry to curb unemployment, reduce debt ratio, increase wealth production. I can partner with someone in the manufacture of value added soursop products (pulping, ice cream, juice etc) on a commercial scale. Are there any interested readers? Let us develop the local economy and create jobs locally!!!

Bro Littleboy ,Greeings and let me say again that you have always been steadfast with your direct posting ,for example here is a report from a world renowned businessman the respected Dr.Sir Ronald Sanders who writes quote that in 2013 several Caribbean countries have seen the debt per GDP risen by by an unmanagable amount and our Grenada is rank 2nd with 115%high debt ratio and this has been compounded more so because we imported more food instead of eating what we grow, and he goes as far as to say that it is hoped that the coming meeting Suriname on the 10th June will see a realization of the issues facing our country, also it is noted that the level of poverty currently in grenada is 37.7% with a high % of our youths now unemployed and what does that say for a government who came into power boasting of caring and is concerned about our poor and needy and youths here in Grenada.

Gabe, this means they lied, we all know how that debt was made and came about. We spoke about it again and again. Keith Mitchel and his crew during their three terms did that to us for sure. Now I see Judas Peter David has joined Keith, but mark this Keith is no slouch and knows a scumbag when he sees one. Lets watch and see what will happen in the near future.

Why don't they plant? Why won't they work the soil. We have the best soil in the world for agriculture. I say if they don't want to work, let them suffer
