Brooklyn, New York, March 24, 2014 The Sponsorship Committee of GRENCAP United Inc. shipped several essential items to the Missions of Charity Home in Pomme Rose, St. Davids, Grenada, to assist in the caring of their elderly residents. The shipment consisted of four barrels containing several adult diapers, cleaning products, linens, blankets, bath towels, a TV, clothing, shoes, non-perishable foods, dishes, hygiene products, toilet paper, disposable under pads, sanitary gloves, first aid supplies, five walkers, one commode, four walking sticks, one wheelchair and one bath chair. “We are honored to be able to assist those who are less fortunate, and we look forward to doing this again” said the team who consists of Roy McKenzie, GRENCAP’s President, Gloria Rennie, Dianne John and Vadlyn Gabriel. GRENCAP would like to acknowledge the following members who donated items: Raheeman Frederick, Ms. Cicely Mason, Estella Charles, Debbie Telesford, Gladys Williams and Michael Vincent.
