Prime Minister Dr Keith Mitchell ended a North American visit by announcing a proposal for the adoption of a 15-year “National Development Plan’’.
Dr Mitchell said technical assistance with the proposed plan is being received from a “friendly government’’.
“The plan has to be agreed to by the nation as a whole,’’ said the prime minister, who visited Montreal and Toronto last weekend before returning to Grenada.
Dr Mitchell headed a delegation that also visited New York. He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Legal Affairs, Elvin Nimrod; Minister of Health Clarice Modeste-Curwen; and advisor Peter David, former Grenada Foreign Minister.
The 15-year development plan, Prime Minister Mitchell told Grenadians in Toronto and Montreal, “is the way to go; so that when government changes, the prospective development plan of the country should not change dramatically, as we have had over the years in the past.’’

I must say that this man has no shame he should listen to Black Wizard IMF and he will understand their intent the more things change the more they remain the same.We have to produce more and export more,we are consumers and beggars no one respects that.We are at the mercy of these big institutions and we never learn.The man with his 20 million could care less about the poor people.

Questions that needs answers from Papa Doc Kcm is Mitchell trying to fool grenadians again for here he is in North America talking about national Government 15 year plan ,yes this is the same man who before the last election talks about uniting all section of our communities ,but no soon he and his bullies took office changes came in thick and fast including getting rid of experience civil servants and diplomats and replacing them with party croonies,so this time is he for REAL ,or is he once again fooling some of our unsuspected people here in Grenada with all this cheap make beliece clever Talk and it is fair to ask that billon dollar question 15 year plan hey does Kcm knows something the rest of our grenadian people dont know? Just asking.
