KIRANI JAMES WINS GOLD IN RECORD TIME
Vid#1
Grenada’s Kirani James put on another outstanding performance to win 400m gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games now taking place in Glasgow, Scotland. The 21-year-old Olympic gold medalist timed his race perfectly, easing into the second 200m and then kicking away from his nearest challenger to coast over the line at least .44 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. James won the event in a Commonwealth Games record time of 44.24 seconds, ahead of South Africa’s Wayde van Niekerk and Trinidad and Tobago’s Lalonde Gordon. Team GC extends hearty congratulations to Kirani on his victory.

Fellow Grenadians and friends of spice isles and our fellow Caribbean brothers and sisters as we celebrates our countries successful involvement in the last Commonwealth games recently held in Scotland ,let us spare a thought on a recently published story by the Commonwealth Secretary General Kamelesh Sharma concerns about the lack of investment in this particular field ,and that being said i recently recalled our own prime minister of Grenada was quoted as saying ,the reason for bringing the recently held CPL into grenada was because he is a lover of cricket, well Mr Kcm ,we Grenadians do love our Kirani James and those who represented Grenada at the Olympic, the Commonwealth Games and all the other sports around the world while representing their country Grenada and we call upon your Government, our Government to come on board and love athletics in the same way you Mr Prime Minister love your cricket and put some investment into this field in the same way as you did with the CPL when claiming that you did what you did for cricket because of your Love for Cricket.
