DAILY AMERICAN AIRLINES SERVICE FOR GRENADA FROM DECEMB...
In a recent interview with the Government Information Service (GIS), Minister responsible for Civil Aviation, Hon. Alexandra Otway-Noel, was pleased to announce that after months of ongoing negotiation, Grenada has finally been able to secure additional airlift from American Airlines. The Minister disclosed that American Airlines, which presently services Grenada with Thursday through Monday flights, will, from December 2014, be providing daily flight services between the United States and Grenada. “We’re really excited to announce that American Airlines will be going to daily flights as of December 2014. That is going to be a big deal for us because it is going to allow us to get more volume, as well as get some more connections on different days through Miami,” Minister Otway-Noel said. The Civil Aviation Minister said she is happy the airline has decided to increase flights to the island, as this strategic move is necessary to create more scheduling options for travelers to and from Grenada. “This will meet the needs of not only our visitors and Diaspora, but our locals, our business community and St. George’s University faculty and students…They will have a bit of an easier time traveling and more transportation options,” she said. The Minister attributes the increase to the concerted effort of the entire industry, the increase in demand and the relationship shared between Grenada and American Airlines. “Our relationship with American Airlines is very strong and we thank them for their continued support as we continue to provide a world class tourism product,” Minister Otway-Noel said. In the meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Minister said her Ministry continues to strategically look for airlift out of the right destinations. “We continue to reach out and make sure that we are being seen in the right markets. We want to ensure we are opening up ourselves to markets that are doing well and that have good potential,” Minister Otway-Noel said. Source: gov.gd

DAILY AMERICAN AIRLINES SERVICE FOR GRENADA FROM DECEMB...
Now Ms Bain it is also my view that our little Grenada is now in the hands of persons who themselves is deep in the pockets of those now ruling our beloved country by the way in which they report which is a whole lot of bull reporting just to make their master look good while Grenada is burning from this deadly virus ,no jobs, the importing of non Grenadians outsiders to head first our Tourism Authority in the form of a Bajan, them behold our Government have now got a Nigerian as our chief Accounting Officer ,while we are spending millions training Imani students as nurses then sending them to Trinidad to look after Trinidians while this Chick-v-virus is tearing our counrty and our people apart,so Mr Hamlet Mark and the other two bit lap dog reporters we have here in Grenada please get a life and report the truth if you guys know what that means.

Brother Gabe it is so darn ironic that even our government believes that anything foreign is better, very sad. There are so many young bright minds on the Island who are seeking employment and I am sure are damn well qualified for these positions. It galls me when Mitchell behaves as though Grenada is a plot of land his daddy died and left him.Mitchell government tries to emulate the US way of life forgetting that this is an island-a small one.I am a proud Grenadian living in the US for over twenty-five years and yes they check credentials. Why the hell is it that each and every foreigner who touches down in Grenada receive jobs which Grenadian nationals are quite capable of doing? Who the hell were doing those jobs before those foreigners touched down. Can any Grenadian no matter how qualified go to Barbados or Nigeria and hold such positions while bypassing their nationals, never happen. In Nigeria one can buy anything such as a MD license, you name it,you got it.As for the Bajan he married one so he marry all.Why do you think they all ended up all the way in Grenada it is because Mitchell government don not check shit.Poor Grenadians below Mitchell!

What I cannot understand is why everytime the NNP government does anything to benefit Grenada in any way they act as though they are doing the people of Grenada a favor. This is just the Government doing the job the people place it to do.Stop acting like Grenadians need to praise you NNP and just do the goddam work, like everyone else.

Bro you are so right, for one only have to listen when the prime Minister is addressing the nation and the words he uses like quote i got friendly goverments who is willing to come and invest their money in grenada ,again like -i told all you all that i will get you money, and my point here is that some grenadians trully believe that the monies that he Mitchell gets from these friendly countries is GIVEN Free to grenada and not loans which has to be paid back at great interest to our already cash starved country,so yes i will agree with you that the devil is in the details in the way in which this government and the NNP talks to grenadians and it all relates to this government way of governance and their begging mentality which is no different to that of a slave mentality.

It looks like good news week first we have from the Ministry of Tourism that American Airline is due to increase its flights to Grenada, brilliant but will such move creates new employment for our under fire unemployed people here in Grenada ? only asking, secondly it is also announced that the CSO is to conduct a 2014 National Labour Force Survey, meaning persons in and out of work ,well, well and there was i thinking that Mitchell and his bunch were not cooking the employment books knowing that it is their department that is responsible for managing the employment and unemployment figures here in Grenada,by putting out make believe figures of persons in employment, and again will the figures show the real level of deprevation and suffering since this bunch of liars and deceivers came into power, behold i pray not for this bunch is very good at fixing things and to quote Littleboy one of my fellow poster on this site , The more they change the more things remain the same.
