PRIME MINISTER'S CHRISTMAS MESSAGE
Fellow Grenadians, Season’s Greetings and God’s richest blessings to everyone for a bright and prosperous New Year. Christmas is a time to gather with family and friends; to look back with gratitude, and to look forward with hope. Sisters and brothers, in this season of goodwill, let us reflect on the many blessings that 2014 brought to us. Like never before, this has been a year in which our country pulled together to overcome the challenges with which we have been confronted. Together, we have made real progress in strengthening our economy and creating more opportunities so that our people can provide for their families. Our government will continue to work tirelessly to create a productive environment for all, as we continue to promote the things that unite us as Grenadians. As a Christian nation, let us live out the words of Acts in the Holy Scriptures, which call us to “help those in need by working hard, [remembering] the words of the Lord Jesus: It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Let us therefore put our faith into action, and reach out to our neighbours during this season of goodwill. My hands remain outstretched, in benevolence to our brothers and sisters everywhere, who are interested in nation building. We have a responsibility to work together, to look out for each other, and to build a better life for our children and grandchildren. Consequently, I continue to be grateful to our social partners for their commitment in this regard. I also thank the men and women who, throughout the year, have answered the call to put aside differences and work together for this beautiful nation. Together, we will make a difference. Together we will ensure the education of our children; together we will feed the hungry; together we will help repair broken families. Together we will take care of our sick, our elderly, our vulnerable and our young people. Sisters and brothers, the possibilities of what we can achieve together are endless. Let our collective aspirations echo in our laughter and our joy this festive season, and always. Most of all, let us ascribe all praise and gratitude to the Christ Child; the real reason that we can celebrate together. So, on behalf of the Government, my family and the entire nation, I wish everyone a blessed Christmas and a brighter, happier 2015. Source: gov.gd

PRIME MINISTER'S CHRISTMAS MESSAGE
Now some would say that he the Pm in his christmas message to the Nation would say the words and the message that he says ,but again some would ask this question and it is this ,has our prime minister mastered the art of deceitfulness and cunning for was this not the same man soon after taking office called upon the Grenadian people to unite as a nation in unity for the sake of our country thus putting aside all types of political vendettas against each other,is this not the same man and his government who says that the days of victimising others because of their political views will no longer be tolerated under his watch, but no sooner the ink was dried on his party taking office the devil and his followers were at it ,laying off and sacking people right ,left and centre some say because they the NNp do not agree with their political views,he also talks about bro.Bishop and his stance re America embago against cuba yes this is the same man some would say could not wait to see the down fall of the same bro Bishop so that he can jump into the seat of power to run our country like his own play thing, Mr Mitchell Grenada is where she is today because of your mouth and the deceitful way in which your party conned our people into beliving that by voting for your rescue party as you called it ,our people would be freed from the chains of the NDC but little did they know that the chain that was going to bind them was infact held by your party ,sir how the hell do you and your ministers sleep at night in peace knowing that our people, our children ,our old and needy our sick is now more at a dis-advantage from the severe hardship that your part have bestored on our Grenadians people with massive tax rises the taking away of the Free christmas Barells, also the current level of high unemployment, all some would say is because of you and your Government borrowing habits ,leaving Grenada naked with no chance in hell of paying back our borrowers and creditors at such high borrowing rates ,yet you have to gall to call your self a christian while our Grenadian people is suffering under your Governmentand, and the IMF/World Bank Pressure,Mr Mitchell sir i wish you a christmas the same as that which some of our hard up Grenadian people will be experiencing this festive season all because of you and your party deceit and lieing to the people to win the last election.

Thanks Gabe. You are quite correct. However the PM is boasting about real progress in strengthening the economy. If that's progress I don't need to see failure. According to the PM, let us reflect on the blessings that 2014 brought us. That's well and good but can we forget the high taxes, high unemployment, the much too high cost of living? Poor Grenadians have to live with those man made problems hopefully not for too long. I pray that better days are coming to the Spice Isle and I wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a successful New Year with some much needed progress.
