IMF CONDUCTING 2ND REVIEW OF GRENADA'S HOMEGROWN PROGRA...
Gabe, there's something a lot of our people are ignorant of. Many of them have failed to recognize the strength of the homosexual and lesbian organizations out there. These organizations control the job market, financial corporation and government institutions. They have the power to determine who is elected into political office and who our leaders are. Yes, we may not accept the behavior or practice of same sex marriage, but it would be ignorant of us to neglect their influence, locally and internationally. Take for example, Pope Francis has openly welcome and excuse members of both organization back into the Catholic church. Don't you think the other denominations would follow suit...those who engage in such practices are in every denomination-Anglican, SDA, Baptist, etc. If you consider the number of church leaders who protested the banning of the "Sodomy" in the region, you would find may be one. However, I don't blame those that have failed to take a stronger staunch against the behavior... their very survival depends on whether they are for or against. Even Keith Mitchell's political future rely heavily on his aggressiveness to relax the "Sodomy Law." Observer is simply observing.

Bro.The Observer i 100% agrees with your last post, and what is most important is the way you have analized the major issues facing our country in terms of religion and our current financial situation and being led by a Government who in my view is leading our country and our people into a debt ridden cess pit without a cat in hell chance of getting out of such mess aided and abetted by these so-called Councils of Churches a body who some would say should be sitting on the side of the poor and down trottened here in grenada instead of sitting with these foreign bankers putting more financial restraint on our already cash starved and Tax burdened people, and by doing so will be holding our country and our people to ransom financially and socially for years to come.

There are many factors here to be taken seriously. it's imperative to recognize our country is going to face economic, social and legal changes as we embark on a new journey. The brother mentioned in his discourse the inclusion of the so-called council of churches. The Observer wonders if he really understands the implication and ramification of the that body. On the economy and involvement of the various financial bodies, Some lay Grenadians are unaware that the economy of Grenada is tied to its long standing social and legal issue of sodomy and homosexual practices. Keith Mitchell, his parliament, the opposition (if there's one) and council of churches, much succumb to pressure from these financial institutions especially the Work Bank and/or of crippling or abolishing the sodomy law, which for years have upheld the protection and God-given right of the institution of marriage between a man and woman. The Caribbean region is under pressure to kill such law wherever it exists. Grenada's failure to do so would result in economic strangulation. The council of churches is weak and ineffective and not in a position to rule delay the banding of such a law. A striking example: the Jamaican economy continues to weaken. The JA dollar is about $220 to every $1 US. Her people are struggling to survive, financially. Should Grenada fail to change its sodomy law and refuse to accept same-sex marriage, the economy would plummet drastically. The country is already importing more than it produces. Grenadians are daily hungering and thirsting more foreign consumer goods than locally produced items, which is demonstration of what is to become a fatal disaster. People, the financial bodies are in Grenada to observe what our government has done so far in order to accommodate legalization of SXM, MSM, etc. Unfortunately, it's to late to turn back the tidal wave.
