During the last few weeks our prime Minister of Grenada have taken steps to strenghten his position as some would say like that man Mugabe,i say so because looking at the recent Cabinet changes that took place once again he has removed some would say all the potentials challengers to his throne bringing them nearer to him ,in his office where he can keep an eye on them, for example the man Mr Clifton Paul M.P. yes the ex school Headmaster for Rose Hill and the surrounding area is still out in the cold, having used Mr Paul a local man to dispose of the then ex Pm Thomas ,yet in two cabinets resuffles the Headmaster is left out of office and some say he is being paid it is said $5k plus per month for sitting on the back bench or at home, Lord how Grenada and its politics is nice so, and here is another observation that comes to mind,it was noted that during the then opposition Nnp campaign the then leader of the nnp and his supporters were forever complaining of several government quangos under the Tillman Government, now behold there is now more quangos in Grenada under this Government than there are pot holes on our road in grenada, take a look like for example every Pastor who forsake the need of the poor and supported the nnp in opposition and had done their ungodly duty to get the then opposition nnp into office is now being called Ministers for Implementation and there are several off them for example Pastor W Garraway, yes this is the same Pm who had lambasted the previous Government of harbouring Quangos,Lord grenada politics nice so,on another topic for those who may be wondering what all this fuss about the silver sands hotel complex project ,well rest assured i can confirm that work is going on around that area, but lets not get too excited as yet let us all wait and see and let the progress continues but we should not forget that major planned golf course come hotels come boating mariner that was planned for Levara some years ago by some prospective investors, yes i am talking about The levara project that came ,started with millions of Grenada Ec dollars going down the Levara lake and now all that is left is a local farmer growing quick crops on the land, with birds, bats ,frogs, and zandolies occupying the club house ,plus a big heavy duty rusty chain locking down entrance to the site by vehicles, yes this could only happen in Grenada.
