MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
Grenadians for change is quite satisfied with the results of the group’s initial endeavors to get re-instatement of consular services for the Grenadians community and the appointment of an appropriate person as Consul General here in the New York Metropolitan area, From inception, the group embarked on an intensive campaign to bring awareness to the closure of the Consulate and its consequences for the New York community. It has been brought to the group’s attention that the Foreign Minister has identified a candidate to be Consul General here New York. Based on information disseminated Grenadians for Change is pleased to know that - that individual is a bona fide Grenadian National with no impediments to representing the interest of the Grenadian community in that capacity. Although the official re-opening is pending, the group is happy to be instrumental in affecting that positive change which is a breath of fresh air in our community. The Group readily embraces this individual and looks forward with great anticipation to collaborative efforts in fostering the unity and healing that the New York community needs so badly, Grenadians for Change extend our gratitude to the Prime Minister and government of Grenada for hearing our call to restore order in the New York Diaspora. The Group applauds them for their decisive action. Grenadians for Change would also like to thank supporters here in New York, back home in Grenada, and the extended Diaspora who help champion the group’s cause by making phone calls, distributing emails and flyers, and attended meeting and forums. A special thanks to the media here and Grenada, who gave the group the much need publicity to help affect this profound change, As we move forward, our only expectation is that this individual will possess the personal and organizational qualities needed to unite the community once again, and eliminate the residue of divisiveness, buddyism and cronyism, which was created due to the lack of adequate representation at that level in New York. Grenadians for Change will continue to be a non-political/ non-partisan advocacy group lending its voice in connecting the needs and the resources required by the Grenadian/New York community.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
Well congratulation to you all in New York for doing what had to be done to get your man or woman consul back on song ,but sad to say we here in England have no such luck ,because news on the street is that there will soon be another new man in our Mission here in London because it is said by those in high places Capitol that the current incumbent is not up to it,and what is worst some say the new man will be that political turncoat journey man one Mr Carl ex Ndc Hood, Lord Grenada Nice so.
