CHINA TO HELP GRENADA WITH CLIMATE CHANGE
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said on Thursday (September 10) that China will strengthen communication and coordination with Grenada on climate change. China will also provide assistance to small islands nations including Grenada under the framework of South-South cooperation, Li said while meeting Prime Minister of Grenada Keith Mitchell on the sidelines of the Summer Davos forum. Li said Grenada had become an important cooperation partner of China in the Caribbean area. China appreciated Grenada's adherence to the one-China policy, and was ready to further strengthen the two countries' political mutual trust and cooperation. He called on the two countries to complete projects concerning people's well-being and infrastructure that the two sides already reached consensus on, strengthen cooperation in human resource training, agricultural technology and people-to-people exchanges, and discuss potential cooperation in areas such as tourism, aviation and law-enforcement. Prime Minister Mitchell hailed the fruits of the cooperation the two countries have already conducted. He said Grenada is in a critical period of national economic development, and is willing to further promote the development of bilateral relations and cooperation. Source: gov.gd

CHINA TO HELP GRENADA WITH CLIMATE CHANGE
Here is a question to our PM with reference to his quote "Grenada is in a critical period of national economic development",and he goes as far as to say that his government "IS WILLING"to further promote the development of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries,Well and there was i thinking that such bilateral cooperation was in place for the last 10 or so years,so what has change? or is this a visit of reassurance from China to our PM to reassure our Caribbean neighbours that all is well after the world wide economic battering the Chinese economy have been receiving recently. JUST ASKING.
