EC$ 12 MILLION TO LIGHT UP CRICKET STADIUM
The Government of Grenada has been guaranteed an EC$12 million loan from the Canadian Bank Note Company Ltd. to erect lighting fixtures at the National Cricket Stadium. This long awaited news was disclosed by Minister for Culture, Senator Hon. Brenda Hood, at Wednesday’s Post Cabinet Briefing. The Senator said the approval of the loan, which was negotiated through the National Lotteries Authority, is exciting news for Grenada as it means the island will soon be able to host night games and significantly boost its sports tourism offerings. Given the technical preciseness of the project, a number of consultations will be held to ensure the lighting is carried out to the West Indies Cricket Board standards. However, the Senator says bids are expected to be sent out soon. Source: gov.gd

说é“:Thanks for the points you have shread here. Something important I would like to convey is that computer system memory needs generally rise along with other breakthroughs in the engineering. For instance, when new generations of processors are introduced to the market, there is usually a similar increase in the dimensions demands of both the computer system memory along with hard drive room. This is because the application operated through these processor chips will inevitably surge in power to use the new engineering.

Honourable Ms. Hood, why don't you and the other 14 bigshots use that money for the hospital? Don't you think that the health of the poor overtaxed and vat ridden citizens health is more important? I know you guys can hop on a jet at a moments notice and travel abroad for first class medical treatment. However, the NNP should show some mercy on the poor and sick. It's a shame to see what Grenada comes to. Dont even mention the roads. Something is very wrong with the one Party Rulers or OWNERS.

Bro.Joe as always you come up with the goods, for having just spent 4 weeks in my beloved spice isle it is a dammed shame that our once beloved happy go lucky people is now in a massive heavly Taxed bondage, put there some would say by this present government and in part some of our unsuspecting voters who have their heads buried in the sand and who allow themselves to become dependant on this begging hand out mentality which is the corrupt policies of this Government hence when ever there is some sort of money to be spent here in grenada instead of spending it on the examples you gave our Pm and his sidekicks would rather spend it on his favourite toys ,like that stadium that is mainly used by Mitchell man Waggy T while the poorer Grenadians struggles to get a decent Medical Hospital with the minimum of care components, yet we have or can get the money to build brand new stadiums while our sick and poor suffers from a lack of poor health care while Mitchell and his cronies play with their sport toys.

Thanks Gabe. I was home not too long ago and went with a relative to pay some extremely high property tax for property that is not making a penny. The rates went up exponentially over the past few years. Grenadians should really beg the Doc for a "HAIR CUT" (thats his favorite term) when comes to paying taxes. I guess Grenadians are now kicking themselves in the behind for putting back the CZAR in power.
