GRENADA HONEY IS BEST IN THE WORLD AGAIN
click
For the second straight year, the Jessamine Eden apiary in Grenada has won the first prize for the best honey in the world at the 85th annual UK International Honey Show in London. The apiary was awarded the Henders Cup, a challenge trophy donated by the Federation of Irish Beekeepers since 1973, which is sought after by competitive beekeepers from all around the world. “We are elated because this award demonstrates the consistent high quality of the honeys from our organic artisanal apiary,” said Dr Valma Jessamy, the chief beekeeper and the resident scientist at Jessamine Eden. The apiary is located at the Grenville Vale Tropical Botanic Garden, a conservation farm that is a natural sanctuary for the honeybee. “Given the current crisis around the world with honey bee populations, we combine the art of natural beekeeping with science to ensure that our bees are healthy and free of diseases. Happy healthy bees will always produce the best honey,” Jessamy added. At the botanic garden there is a Honey House where visitors can learn about honey bees and the varietals of honey from Jessamine Eden. The honeys are of different colours and bouquets from pale gold to dark amber, which is influenced by the seasonal varieties of medicinal plants and wildflowers. The Honey House is designed like a 19th century boucan where visitors can sample organic teas and honey inspired foods produced on the farm. Source: Caribbean News Now

When there's no checks and balances, when the Governor General and other officials are appoint by a particular party-in power, there chances of improprieties are highly likely.

Stallion, in order for the government to market and promote our products on a large or international scale, it must first invest in the production and quality of those products. Can you tell your audience what role the government played and what incentive or subsidiaries it gave to honey farmers to get to the stage of such remarkable recognition? I'm asking the question because farmers are usually left to fend for themselves.

Bro.Stallion it is because The Governor General is already selling these products from her family private business and which job wise only helps a few hence for Grenada and our agriculture faming industries to grow we have to invest more, educate more cultivate and grow more so that we as a country is not soley dependant on Tourisum and CBI or IMF handouts.
